What Is A Cookie Crumbfull?

A better question is what isn't it?  A crumbfull is bliss.  A crumbfull is  joy.  A crumbfull is a tiny bite of magic.   A crumbfull is all your dreams come true... it's world peace...  it's nirvana.  Okay, maybe I'm getting a bit carried a way.  But, a crumbfull is one damn fine confectionery treat if I do say so myself, and I do!

We start with a simple cookie.  So sweet.  Perfect and innocent.  Then we toss it into a food processor with a bunch of it's cookie buddies. Muwahahahaha!  Once those cookies are pulverized into crumbs we mix it with what we call a "binder".  That doesn't sound delicious at all but believe me, it is.  A binder can be butter cream or peanut butter, or jam or cream cheese icing or any of the deliciously sticky glues in our arsenal.  They perform the essential job of making those cookie crumbs stick together and enabling us to form the smooth perfect little balls that are the core of our tasty treats.

Now it's time for those naked centers to get dressed.   We en-robe them in the perfect coating to complement the smooth filling.   Usually milk, white or dark chocolate.  Sometimes there's a sneaky little flavoring in the coating too.  But that's not all.  Now that they are dressed, they need to accessorize!   Each crumbfull gets topped with a coordinating "jangle".  It could be nuts, it could be sprinkles,  it could be chocolate chips... the possibilities are endless.

That's it.  Crumbs, Binder, Coating, Jangles.  Together you've got a little bite of heaven that's not quite a cookie... and not quite a truffle... but something exceedingly special.  It's a crumbfull.  Enjoy!
